Fairways and Bluewater Newcoast, Boracay Philippines
Before booking a reservation, I always look for the property’s distance from the airport and how accessible it is from other things that I plan to do with the area. One thing I also look for is the ambiance and affordability.
Searched on booking.com using the criteria that I'm looking for, and I found this hotel. For PHP 12,307.38 for three (3) nights, I know it’s quite pricey. But if you look at what the property offers, you’ll know it’s worth it.
This property has a private white sand beach and an 18-hole golf course. It also features 6 swimming pools and 12 food and beverage outlets. The resort offers free WiFi in all rooms as well.
You can get a room that either has a garden or a golf course view. Each room has a safe, LED flat-screen TV, fridge and tea/coffee maker. The private bathroom includes shower facilities, free toiletries and a hairdryer. Babysitting, laundry and salon services are also available on-site.
You can also visit the resort’s Fitness and Wellness Centre which has facilities such as a hot tub, steam bath, sauna and gym. If you’re more for relaxation, you can enjoy a massage by the beach at Maris Spa or head to Bluewater Spa. Horseback riding, segway, zip line and cable car rides are also offered by the resort.
This property can be reached via a 45-minute flight from Manila to Caticlan, followed by a 5-minute boat ride to Boracay Island. It is a 25-minute transfer from Cagban Jetty Port. A free hourly pick-up from D’Mall is provided until 10PM.
This property is highly rated for good value! Other guests say you get more for your money here than at other properties in Boracay.
So this is the building where we stayed.
Now back to checking the place out, we took another shuttle to go to the biggest pool that they have.
I didn’t really get to take the whole pool in this pic, but yeah it’s really big. Sorry. Haha. I didn’t know I was going to write about it when I took this photo.
Now before the sun goes down, we decided to go to the Station 1 to watch the sunset.
So crowded out there. Too many tourists. Bars and Shops. But I’m not complaining, I actually kinda liked it. And the sunset was perfect. With some sailboats in the background, it’s one of it’s kind.
So yeah, this article is actually about the hotel so I’m not going to write about my other experiences in Boracay. You can read it here though. ?
Anyway, shuttle service comes every hour from D’Mall to pick up guests and take them back to the Hotel. But in case you missed it, you can get a Tryke and pay Php 100.00 to get back to the resort.
Overall, I loved the stay. I would recommend it if you have a budget, as it’s a bit pricey for 3 nights. The staffs are great. Very good service. But the only downside is that it’s a little bit far from the Station 1. That’s all. Everything else is perfect.
