I’m going to say that with all the three hostels I stayed at in Australia, The Pod Sydney is probably my most favorite one.
I paid $145 for 4 nights in shared CoEd Room. I was told be other backpackers that I paid too high for this one but when I got there, I was surprised with how organized and clean it is.
I got a key card that has access to the main door entrance and to my assigned room.
From the waiting lounge, to the room to the bathroom, the main lounge, the dining area, and the kitchen, you’ll notice the cleanliness of the property.
Aside from all these, the property is also located in Sydney’s CBD which is perfect for travelers as its close to most tourist attraction in the area.
The cheapest way to get around Sydney is to get an Opal Card which you can buy at any 7-11 Stores nearby.
Going to the Sydney Opera House and Darling Harbour Bridge, you’ll only need to take a train from the Museum Station, then get off to Circular Quay Station (2 stops away from the Museum).
Going to Paddy’s Market is also just a few minutes walk from the hostel.
Here are some of the other landmarks that are closest to the property:
World Square Shopping Centre (0.1 km), Downing Centre (0.2 km), Capitol Theatre (0.2 km), Museum Station (0.3 km), HSBC Australia (0.4 km), Market City (0.4 km), Chinese Friendship Garden (0.5 km), Town Hall Station (0.5 km), The Goods Line (0.6 km), Central Station Sydney (0.6 km)
